Owner and Artistic Director

Jane Vorburger trained at the Maryland Youth Ballet Academy. She was invited to join American Ballet Theatre at age sixteen. While dancing with ABT, Ms. Vorburger toured the world performing principle, soloist, and corps de ballet roles until leaving to complete her Bachelor’s of Arts degree at Oberlin College studying Biology, French and Post Modern dance.

She went on to complete an MFA in Dance at New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts and then began teaching and choreographing at premier schools in New York City. While in New York she taught for American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, The Joffrey Ballet New York, The Mark Morris Dance Group, NYU Tisch, Marymount Manhattan College, Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Ballet Arts and others. She has guest taught and choreographed for schools across the USA including the Fort Wayne Ballet, Fairbanks Festival of the Arts, Interlochen School for the Arts, Rutgers University, Nutmeg School of Ballet, and The Dance Theatre of Lynchburg.

She spent six years teaching for the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School working under Franco De Vita and Raymond Lukens. Her students at ABT JKO successfully completed the exams under her mentorship.

Ms. Vorburger completed the 92nd Street Y’s Dance Education Laboratory program in 2010 where her teachers included Jody Arnhold, Catherine Gallant, Ana Nery Fragoso and Tina Curran and then began teaching Laban based dance lessons in the NYC public schools. These classes teach children to explore space, time and the body through structured improvisation and dance making lesson plans.

Jane relocated to Oklahoma with her family in 2012 to direct the Oklahoma City Ballet Center for Dance. Under her direction the school grew from 120 students to over 250 students. She also directed the ballet program at Classen School of Advanced Studies and the Professional Training Division at Texas Ballet Theater in Dallas and has taught ballet and pointe at the University of Oklahoma’s School of Dance since 2015.

She is excited to share her joy of dance with students in Moore and the surrounding areas. She offers not only world class mentoring in ballet but also teaches dance making workshops that allow pupils’ creativity and collaboration skills to blossom.

Jane Vorburger is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 7 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
